The exhibition Buffoni, Villani e Giocatori alla Corte dei Medici (Jesters, Villains and Players at the Medici Court) at the Pitti Palace Gallery Of Modern Art in Florence shows the remarkable subjects that could be found at the Medici Court.
The scenes of 30 paintings illustrate the comical aspects of social life and life at the court. The works are mainly from the deposits of the Palatine Gallery and include artists like Anton Domenico Gabbiani, Faustino Bocchi and Hieronymus Bosch.
